Marylebone Project Joins the London Walk 2025

Looking for impactful fundraising events in London? Support women facing homelessness in London and join the Marylebone Project on Friday, 14th March 2024 at the London Walk, organized by the London Homeless Collective.

This inspiring event unites homelessness charities and hundreds of participants to raise funds and awareness for tackling homelessness in London. Together, we’ll reflect on the struggles faced by vulnerable groups, including women, young people, and trans individuals, who often walk though the night to avoid danger when they are without safe shelter

Enjoy entertainment, pit stops, and a vibrant community atmosphere as you walk through London’s iconic streets. Be part of this meaningful event and help change the lives of vulnerable women in need.

Event details:

  • When: Friday 17th March 2025
  • What: Marathon, half marathon or 10k night walk
  • Time: Start: The walk is currently due to begin at 20:00
  • Finish 10km – approx. 23:00
  • Finish half marathon – approx. 1:00am
  • Finish time marathon – approx. 5:00am
  • Where: Starts and finishes at St Martin’s-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square
  • Route: You can find all routes here
  • Cost: £25 registration (returned to chosen charity), with minimum targets of £150 for 10k, £250 for half marathon and £350 for the marathon distance walk  

What difference could you make?

  • £150 could fund 3 nights in an emergency bed for a woman facing crisis, setting them up for more stable accommodation whilst giving them access to hot nutritious meals, showers, laundry and health services
  • £250 could buy 12 clients who have no access to public funds can buy a food shop of essentials when they first arrive at the Sanctuary.
  • £350 could provide a woman who is taking the next step in her life and moving on into independent accommodation with a home starter pack, which includes anything they could need from duvets and pillows, to kitchen utensils, to a microwave.
